About me

I am a passionate occupational therapist and clinical educator who, since 2006, has worked in a diverse range of educator, leadership, clinical and project worker roles in a variety of adult mental health services and state-wide workforce development settings. I am driven my an unwavering dedication to enhancing mental health care and a commitment to support the development of the mental health workforce through quality supervision and education. I am a mum to two active young boys and dozens of plant babies, my interests include environmental sustainability and design, and my recreational pursuits include music, eating out, going to the gym and spending time in and near water.

My current role/work

I am currently employed as an Allied Health Educator with the Centre for Mental Health Learning (CMHL)., which is a state-wide workforce development agency for the public mental health sector. My role involves coordinating the state-wide allied health entry level training series, designing training resources for service based allied health educators, and supporting the professional development of allied health educators through a range of initiatives and workshops.
I have completed the first year of a three year Master of Clinical Education course at the University of Melbourne. I have and will continue to apply the learnings from this course in my CMHL role, and am excited to continue to develop my knowledge and skills as an educator.
I also work casually as a crisis and emergency mental health clinician with both Mercy and Austin Mental Health Services

My approach to supervision

I utilise a flexible and supervisee led approach to clinical supervision relationships. I promote supervisee agency, by encouraging supervisees to set the agenda and engage in critical reflection on issues prior to sessions. I bring a curious and reflective mindset and enthusiasm for lifelong learning and growth, along with my passion and expertise.
