About me

I am a passionate occupational therapist, believe strongly about excellent and accessible mental health care for people in our community. I am also dedicated to supporting the building, learning and development of the occupational therapy workforce.

My experience

I have worked in the public mental health sector for over 18 years. I have worked as a mental health clinician and occupational therapist in a varied roles in youth and adult services, and worked as a tutor and lecturer at LaTrobe university. I have also provided private clinical supervision since 2019 to Occupational Therapists working in mental health.
My specific areas of interest are clinical education, clinical teaching, clinical supervision, youth mental health, neurodivergence and mental health, group work, sensory modulation interventions and sensory modulation environment project work.

My clinical supervision style is collaborative, based on principles of critical reflection, psychological safety for growth and learning, building resilience and reduction of empathic distress, and evidenced based and ethical practice for best outcomes for people experiencing mental ill health, and those that care for them
