About me

My career as a mental health occupational therapist started over 20 years ago in New Zealand. I have subsequently worked in Australia and the U.K in an array of inpatient, community, government based and corporate health care settings and am now settled in Melbourne. Being recovery orientated is at the heart of my practice where I value a curious approach, evidence informed clinical reasoning and time and space for reflection to support ongoing growth. My special interest areas include trauma, substance use, ethics in healthcare, workplace health and risk management, psychological safety and emerging interventions. In addition to my work role I am mum to 2 energetic primary schoolers and a boisterous Labrador. I love getting out in nature, connecting with friends and getting creative with the occasional upcycling project.
